Beautifully Branded Features Keri Doolittle

When I first met Keri a few years ago at a photography workshop I was immediately drawn in.  Her warmth and zest for life is apparent from the first second you meet her.  However it is when I discovered Keri’s blog that I truly fell in love with everything Keri represented.  Not only was she…

Awesome stuff, Keri! It looks like you put in a ton of work to get all of your collateral material together. I’m impressed! Thanks for sharing, Karen!

Pursuit 31 Retreats ~ Deborah Zoe’s Experience

I walked into a room full of in person strangers… online friends… and immediately knew I was at home. Immediately I felt welcomed into a group of sisters that little did I know, would change my life. Among them was Deborah Zoe. Her spirit and joy radiated throughout the room and I knew I’d found…

This is something I’ve been grapling over lately- how can I use my photography skills to glorify the Lord? How can I let Jesus shine through my business, minister to my clients, and manage to make a difference for the kingdom? I’d absolutely LOVE to attend the Indianapolis retreat! And you better believe I shared on Facebook :)

Yay!! What a wonderful opportunity! I just posted it on my personal wall and my photography fan page wall. I would love to get a seat at the San Diego retreat. It would be such an answer to prayer. I own MS Studio Designs Photography and although I’ve had the business for over a year, it’s been slow going- I could really use some help in the areas of marketing and branding.
I’m actually an interior designer (that’s what my degree is in) but I’ve always wanted to do photography and only hesitated because I didn’t think I could make it in such a big ocean of amazing talent. Right now though I have three little ones five and under and I could really use income that works around my family rather than the other way around.
I’ve been saving for a new lens for over a year and I just about have that fund up to the four hundred I would need if I registered today or tomorrow. Ah, decisions. Well regardless it would be lovely to get the spot either way and get to keep saving for the lens. Thank you so much for being willing to share your knowledge with us and creating a place for community to happen. God bless.

I shared this AMAZING link! I would be so blessed for a San Diego seat.

I would like to go because I am trying to find my identity, after 38 years, in Christ. To finally find a way to take my gifts and talents and honor Him, my family and myself. In the past year, I have started my own business (Grace & Joy Photography – named after my two daughters) and have sought to honor Jesus, and bring His Grace and Joy to my clients. The business is slowly growing, and it is difficult to find a balance between this, being a stay at home Mommy to my two daughters (ages 3 years and 15 months) and being the manager and administrator of my husband’s business. It would be such a blessing to be refreshed by other women of faith, renewed through fellowship, encouraged in my gift and refined through the talent and investment of others. What a humbling and amazing gift it would be to be chosen for this!

  4. Posted it! I’ve heard of you through a friend but this was the first time I’d checked out the blog. How fun to be with other sisters who want to better themselves! I’d go to the San Diego retreat :)

I posted on my wall! I’d love a seat in San Diego. :) I believe this retreat would really help me get my business on track. I spend most nights up at my computer, working on Photography, when I’d rather be hanging out with my husband, and I don’t know how to stop! THANK YOU so much for the opportunity to win a seat! xoxo <3

  6. So exciting! 6 weeks into this mommy thing and I’m spent! Kudos to working moms! We love our baby girl, but challenges are obvious. I feel spread pretty thin and would love to meet and develop friendships with all you sweet girls!

San Diego would be fabulous! I posted to my facebook!
I wouldn’t “like” to go I would LOVE it because I feel like I need to be around God’s people when it comes to photography and lately, I am not sure that I am hearing his voice clearly on what I should be doing. I love retreats. I love Christian women and I love photography. This would be right up my alley.

Thank you for such a sweet chance to go to one of the retreats! I posted this to my personal and business wall. Honestly I would love to be able to attend any of the retreats. The Sand Diego retreat is closest to my state, so a free seat would be great! I believe this retreat would not only help my business, but soul. To be able to connect and grow with other like minded women would be amazing. I know 2012 will be a great year, and what a blessing this would be. Thank you so much!

Strengthening Faith | Angelsea Urban

Pin It WHY GOD, WHY? As a child growing up, I drove my parents NUTS asking them why. About EVERYTHING. I wanted to know things.  I needed to know things. I craved to understand the world around me.  The people in it, and WHY we did what we did.  It was no surprise I became…

Holding on to your God Given Visions and Dreams

Pin It It is so easy to forget the things that God puts in our hearts, to mistake them for fantasy or fleeting moments of grandeur.  We’re adults and its our job to think like adults, logically, in ways that make sense and sometimes our desires and hopes for the future seem like things that…

Stay in YOUR Place!

Pin It So I was hanging out with my five year old daughter and slipped into a moment of daydreaming. I began thinking about everything going on in my life. I began to think about all the unanswered questions and situations surrounding me and kind of got into a momentary panic mode. Well, without thinking I…

  1. WOW!!!! Talk about hitting it out the park. I feel as if you wrote this for me. I’ve got soo much going on right now that I constantly ask God “What is going on”?? But I’ve learned that I must trust in him as he already has it laid out for us. I continue to lean on Proverbs 3:5-6 “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. Acknowledge him in all your ways and he will set your path straight”. Thank you for writing this Tiana!
