All you need is bread, daily bread.

Pin It Faith walking can be so challenging sometimes.  Its easy to believe God for things when things are easy, when your needs are met and when your on the mountaintop.  Its even easy to believe God when times are tough, and challenging, you know you’ll make it and you know you’ll get through because…

    Every part of my photography journey has drawn out faith and strength in me I never knew I had, until I HAD to use it. There was a pull from my heart calling me into the unknown, too. It was irresistible. I am so proud of every woman who discovers the comfort of knowing there are miracles happening around you all the time when you are serving and seeking His purpose for your life. Reinstilling that flow and connection to God often is huge. And reading the example from your life…it’s contagious. Thank You!!

    Considering taking that faith walk myself. It’s so scary, though… I keep convincing myself that the timing isn’t right. Argh! I’m reading the “Dream Giver” and don’t want that feather to disappear from the window sill. :-/

    If you decide for God, living a life of God-worship, it follows that you don’t fuss about what’s on the table at mealtimes or whether the clothes in your closet are in fashion. There is far more to your life than the food you put in your stomach, more to your outer appearance than the clothes you hang on your body. Look at the birds, free and unfettered, not tied down to a job description, careless in the care of God and you count far more to him than birds. -Matthew 6:25-26 (The Message).

Speak Up! {A one month challenge}

Pin It Take a moment and think. How many times has the smallest gesture from someone else completely made your day? A comment on your blog, a quick email or facebook message, or even just a sincere verbal compliment. The result: A huge goofy grin that doesn’t leave your face for hours….all because of something that only…

    I usually hold back, so often what I think because sometimes I assume that to others it won’t matter, or they may already know how awesome they are…. (Especially when said people are pretty ‘popular’). But I know the feeling whenever someone compliments something I do, create, or say. Online, or off. I was in the movie theatres, and a girl told me how much she loved how I did my hair. That made my night. Why do we always tell ourselves NOT to say something, when that something could make that persons day, give them confidence when they were insecure, etc?

  4. Cassandra Phares Blaylock on said:

    Kristin….i have a little story to add to this. I cannot tell you how many times my friends, family , people I see in the store I haven’t seen in months…comment on my photos to me in person and DON”T bother to tell me on the post! I’ve actually had a hard time…self pitty moments on this subject on why they don’t LIKE it on facebook and tell me then! I’ve made a pack to myself to write back on posts..not just like…about their comment, picture etc. I’m personal like that and like the idea of this challenge. I accept hole heartedly. Paying it forward!

    I am so excited to challange myself with this! I know that when I get a nice compliment, I smile from ear to ear : ) I think a lot of people now days are so afraid of giving a nice complement thinking that the other person will think they are wierd or a stalker, I know most people probably think I am a goof for actually starting a conversation with them without actually knowing them. This shall be fun!

Finding worms with a drill sergeant | Angelsea Urban

Pin It Although I had good intentions, it was a HUGE mistake to program my alarm clock with my local Christian radio station. Thinking about waking up to some motivational praise and worship music to start my day, was just a mere fantasy.  Sure, I can use my iPod, or put in a CD (gasp!),…

    Thank you I have been feeling this exact way! Finding worms is sometimes the most important thing we can do! Glad I am not alone! :)

  2. Kathy Bryan Azar on said:

    Love the title of this, too! My kids were used to me being a full time, stay-at-home-mom, so starting my business has been a little rough on them since I am less available to hunt worms. Need to make more time for that and balance things out a bit…as I sit here at the computer at 11:34, knowing full well I need to get up at 5:30! Thanks for the reminder.
