Beautifully Branded features Brittany Sharday
Wow. I love Brittany’s branding. The detail, the craft, the love that she put into every ounce of her branding. Amazing. Hopefully this brings some inspiration to all of us.
——————————————————————————————
The birth of this new brand was January 1, 2012. The idea of rebranding (again) was stirring in my brain for a while, but I panicked at the thought of switching literally every single portion of my last brand over to a new. Im a super indecisive person when it comes to crafting and my art, so deciding to stick with one theme was really hard at first. But then I asked myself a simple question, “what do I love??” So I sat down and listed out a zillion colors, things and places I love to see, do, and go, meshed them all together and BAM! My brand-baby was conceived!
I love the Earth. I love being out in nature, I love camping, I love the beach, I love stopping to eat black berries on the side of the road, I love sticks, I love neutral tones, I look great in whites and creams, I love the woods, I love the Pacific Northwest, I love rivers, I love anything tribal print… you get the picture. I’m a total hippy! PLUS, I am a TOTAL DIYer!! So with all of that, I knew I had to ‘Go Green’ with my branding and really dive into nature, and my left brain.
I first wanted to come up with a logo or symbol that was easily recognizable and would tie in my nature theme really well. I played around with some different ideas until I came up with my trademark bundle of sticks character. I later found a killer font that looked super earthy and created my logo. I then moved on to creating my blogsite, watermarks, and lastly, tangible branding, EEK! My DVD’s and disc cases are from Loktah. They are made from biodegradable plant materials, so if they end up in a landfill years from now, they won’t be piling up, rather giving back to the earth! ALL of my paper products and other packaging are also eco friendly which is super important to me.
I just LOVE my branding now! I love that I am producing great images, encasing them in earth healthy packaging materials, and giving them to awesome clients who appreciate and value my need to be ‘green!’ I am inspired every time I look at the details of my brand, I hope you are too!
Here is a list of materials I use in my complete branding kit, including a few paper items not photographed here:
- Loktah DVD case
- DVD of images
- bamboo business cards
- natural cotton drawstring bag for client gifts/wallet prints
- print folio made from biodegradable materials
- print release, disc storage info, gift certificate, folded ‘thank you’ card, all made of eco friendly card stock paper, printed from my home computer.
- jute twine
- I use loktah paper for client contracts
- kraft tissue paper
- hand-carved rubber stamp of my logo symbol.

Hmm… None of these images show up.
Yeahhh! So excited to wake up to this this morning! Happy birthday to me!
simply beautiful!:)
This is gorgeous! Did you slowly piece this together yourself or do you order it from a single place?
So perfect.
Brittany–LOVE this! Question: Where did you order your shredded wood filler from? I have been looking everywhere!
Sarah Nickerson I found some at nashvillewraps.com! it came in a big box and as i moved for the 3rd tme this year I ended up letting go of it
Sarah Nickerson: I just buy it from my local Container Store. You can get it at pretty much any craft store, like Michaels, or wherever. Only about $5 for a bag, and a little goes a long way with this stuff!
Andrea Scott: I slowly pieced it together. I’m a HUGE DIYer and making everything on my own was important to me as it feeds both my creative/artistic side and my control freak side! Hahaha!
