I recently watched the testimony of Kathy Ireland on I am Second. Her testimony, like SO other working mothers out there sounded oddly familiar. Struggling with Mom Guilt, she spoke about how important God was in her life, but how much more she longed for more time with her kids. It’s a difficult balancing act to feel like you are giving all appropriate parties the correct amount of attention while trying to raise children, run a business and walk closer with God daily.

Finally one day God told her, “Trust me in this, spend more time with ME and I’ll give you more time with your kids”.

I wonder how many of us can take that first step and purposefully spend more time with God even when it may feel like we are taking away time for our families?
