Although I heard it quite awhile back, this quote has been at the front of my mind recently. It is so simple, yet speaks such a strong message! I love how relevant the example is….

In my mind, I see a single lit candle in a dark room. This candle is then used to light another. Both candles go on to light two more…and the cycle goes on…. until there are thousands of lit candles and a room filled with light. Yet, even now as the room is glowing bright with a thousand flames…..that single candle that started it all, still burns just as bright as it did at the beginning and has lost nothing…..

Something to think about, huh?

Are you that lone candle in the dark room? Do you have the potential to ignite the flames in the hearts of others?

My challenge for you this week, is to light another candle. (Okay not literally…put away the matches!).

Step out and pour your light into someone else. It could be a photographer friend who wants some tips, a friend who you want to share your faith with, or just someone who needs some love…..

Use your gifts and light those candles! You never know what the smallest gesture could mean to someone who needs it so much in that very moment.

YOU could be the origin of a sea of brightness. It only takes one flame to start it all…..what are you waiting for?
