Stay in YOUR Place!

       Right then I began to really think about the simple truth my daughter had just uncovered. In essence she pretty much told me to stay in my place. What if we actually took that approach to life? What if when life got crazy, uncertain and questionable we just took the stance that we are not up there with God, He is the only one in His place and therefore I just need to trust Him instead of trying to figure out what He is up to. I believe that is what God is calling us to do. I believe that is how God is calling us to live. We must learn to take the mindset that even if we are not in a place to see all things working together for our good(Rom 8:28), we have to believe that God is, and therefore we must trust Him. We have to remember that even if we are not in a place to see all the plans God has for us (Jer 29:11), we have to believe that God is, so we must just trust that they are for our good like He said they would be! This means that even if we are not in a place to see and make sure that these weapons that are currently being formed against us are NOT going to prosper, we must believe that God is, and therefore we must trust Him to be our shield. You see we were never called to be in a place of SEEING, but we are and always have been called to be in a place of TRUSTING. “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”Heb 11:1. Listen to that verse in the Amplified version,

“NOW FAITH is the assurance (the confirmation, the title deed) of the things [we] hope for, being the proof of things [we] do not see and the conviction of their reality [faith perceiving as real fact what is not revealed to the senses].”

          Listen to that!!! Faith is perceiving as real FACT what is NOT revealed to the senses!!! Ladies we are so inclined to use and trust our senses for EVERYTHING when this faith, life and Christianity thing should have nothing to do with what we see, hear, touch, smell, or taste. We have got to have a paradigm shift ladies. If we are going to survive with our sanity we must. If we are going to be able to tame our minds into belief and away from the thoughts of the Enemy we must. And if we are going to stay in our place and allow God to reign in His then…WE MUST. We must stop trying to see and start learning to trust.

      So the next time you find yourself in a panic mode of uncertainty, fear and questioning the activity of your precious Lord just remember the words of my daughter,”You are not up there with HIM!”. Stop trying to see what HE sees and just begin to trust what HE says!
